PlanetSide 2 has some major content updates planned for the next two weeks, including the upcoming Amerish update and the updated mission system. Creative director Matt Higby shared some details on what to expect in a phone call with Shacknews.
PlanetSide 2 is poised to have a huge 2014, so Shacknews got in touch with creative director Matt Higby to discuss the developer's approach to fan feedback, the upcoming PS4 version, and take questions from the Chatty community.

While Sony Online Entertainment's MMOs are free-to-play, the company offers subscriptions, entitling players to a number of benefits. Starting April, the company plans on doing away with game subscriptions, giving all paid members access to premium content across all of their games.
Online games eventually come to an end. For a number of Sony Online Entertainment's games, that time is sooner than later. Four games will be "sunset," so that the company can "refocus our resources on other areas in the best interest of our company and player community."

PlanetSide 2 has updated its developer roadmap and among the notable items is that the long-awaited Hossin continent is now tentatively set to arrive in May.
