Sega has confirmed that Sonic CD will come out this year for various platforms, and attendees of PAX Prime will get a chance to see it at Microsoft's booth this weekend.

Sonic Team's Takashi Iikuza says that this year Sonic Team is focusing on finishing Sonic Generations for the series anniversary, which means Sonic 4: Episode 2 won't come out until 2012.

Sonic CD is coming to Xbox 360, and will be playable at PAX Prime this week.
