Publisher My.com has announced a new MMO racing game for PC called World of Speed, which will be developed by Need for Speed: Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios.
Need for Speed Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios is currently working away hard on its crowdfunded racer Project CARS, but oh, that's not all it has coming. The British studio today announced World of Speed, a free-to-play MMO drive' em up with cars and roads and, as one would expect from a F2P MMO, social jazz up the wazoo.
Slightly Mad Studios has raised $660,000 through its own crowd-sourcing method for Project CARS, which offers various perk benefits at several levels. It aims for $5 million over a two year development cycle.
