On April 2nd, Harmonix will no longer release DLC for its Rock Band games.
If you fancy some new tunes to play in Rock Band Blitz or to twang on some old favourites in Rock Band 3, a fine opportunity is coming up. To celebrate the rhythm series' fifth anniversary in November and the launch of Blitz, developer Harmonix is planning to make over 1,100 DLC songs half-price in a huge sale, including singles, packs and full albums.
While putting together stellar performances isn't as easy in Blitz as it is in Rock Band, it quickly proves to be just as fun.
Harmonix has revealed the full track list for Rock Band Blitz, set to release later this month.
Rock Band Blitz, Harmonix's downloadable ryhthm 'em up spin-off, is arriving on August 28, when it hits PS3, then will come to XBLA on August 29.
Rock Band Blitz is not only a great value for fans that have amassed a significant Rock Band library, it's a fun return to Harmonix's roots.
