It is just unfortunate that after waiting so long for a sequel, Company of Heroes 2 doesn't offer much in the way of innovation. That said, it still is everything its predecessor was: an intense and enjoyable RTS that gives you the feeling of really being an armchair general.
Relic Entertainment has released a new developer video for Company of Heroes 2, focusing on the multiplayer experience.
Some E3 demoes are broadcast for the world to watch, some are only for us to write about, and some, well, we wouldn't be allowed to tell you about those for months. How delightful, then, that the Company of Heroes 2 campaign mission shown at E3 is now available for everyone to play. Huzzah!

Now that Sega will be publishing Company of Heroes 2, it has decided to up the ante a bit by offering a new Digital Collector's Edition that will include a few more perks than the one originally offered by THQ.
Company of Heroes 2 was originally slated to come out this month, but the troubles of former publisher THQ and the sale of developer Relic Entertainment to Sega has pushed the game's release date back to June 25.
Relic was purchased by Sega during THQ's auctions, but Homeworld seems to have been left out of the arrangement. App developer teamPixel has started a crowd-funding campaign to purchase the rights to Homeworld and continue development.
