Rochard developer Recoil Games has shown off seven minutes of a prototype sequel to its puzzle platformer starring the voice behind Duke Nukem, Jon St. John. Don't get too excited just yet, as the game's actually on hold. Alas, the original game struggled to get attention, so Recoil's having trouble drumming up funding.
Origin is now getting serious about being seen as a bona fide digital distribution platform, rather than a vanity project, signing up eleven publishers including CD Projekt RED, 1C Company, and Paradox Interactive.
Rochard has come to the Mac App Store, for a limited time price of $2.99.
Rather than faff around with long and protracted release run-ups, Recoil Games today announced simply that a PC edition of Rochard will be released next week via Steam, priced at $9.99.
SOE announced release dates and prices for three of its titles today: Rochard (September 27, $9.99), Payday: The Heist (October 4, $19.99), and Sideway: New York (October 11, $9.99).
