After Rayman Legends was delayed for Wii U until September to hold it for an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version, Ubisoft promised a new demo for the game in early April. That demo will now come in late April with an exclusive level just for the Wii U.

Rayman creator Michel Ancel and some of the Rayman Legends development team posed with a group of protestors demanding that Ubisoft release the game on Wii U as planned.

Ubisoft is offering something of an olive branch to disgruntled Wii U fans, who must wait an additional seven months for Rayman Legends.

Rayman Legends has been delayed, and the game is no longer a Wii U exclusive. When it releases in September, it will also be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The App Store has been updated with a "Best of 2012" feature, which declares Apple's picks for the best content throughout iTunes.

Next week, the eShop will be updated with a demo for the Wii U-exclusive platformer, Rayman Legends.

The Wii U may be launching on November 18 but Nintendo uses a wishy-washy "launch window" term when talking about games, the 23 launch day titles aside.
