New video game releases of 7/30-8/5

We're sitting pretty in the summer lull, with only a few new games coming out next week, but a pretty nice few games. We'll be getting co-op-y tower-defense-y action-y game Orcs Must Die! 2, Kingdom Hearts 3D, XBLA zombie 'em up Deadlight, the PC revamp of Death Rally, and more.

New video game releases of 7/23-7/29

Next week will bring the PC edition of Prototype 2, Kinect catapult 'em up Wreckateer, a little Foosball, boss battle 'em up Malicious, and a few other odds and ends.

New video game releases of 6/25-7/1

Next week's new releases include Spec Ops: The Line, tie-in game The Amazing Spider-Man, the twice-delayed PC edition of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the London Olympics game, the PC edition of Penny Arcade episode 3.

Ragnarok: Tactics coming over to PSP

Though major publishers abandoned the PSP long ago, Sony's handheld is the best place to find Japanese strategy-RPGs and the like thanks to the localisation-mad publishers like Aksys and Atlus. Aksys has announced it's bringing another SRPG over, Ragnarok: Tactics.

Next week will bring Lollipop Chainsaw from Grasshopper, post-apocalyptic action-RPG Krater, PulzAR, Gravity Rush, expandalone Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Dirt Showdown for consoles, and more.

FIFA Soccer 13 announced for fall

Surprise! A new entry in EA's ball-kicking FIFA franchise has been announced, for release this fall. But wait! Before you sigh and roll your eyes, like the jaded curmudgeon you are, EA is promising a "revolutionary set of game-changing innovations" for FIFA 13.

PES 2013 announced for fall

"Let's kick that ball!" The famous footie chant will once again ring out this fall, as Konami has announced PES 2013. The cheer rises from the terraces, "Kick it with your feet!"

What's coming out next week? Oh, you know, Duke Nukem Forever and Ever, Final Fantasy XIII-3: Reckoning - Retribution, Milo & Kate, and Elite 4. Ha ha not really, April Fool's! Now you look stupid!
