Sony officially discontinues PSP Go in Japan, Europe
Sony has now confirmed earlier reports that it is ceasing production of the PSP Go, instead focusing its manufacturing attention on the NGP and continuing to support the PSP-3000 model.

Sony has now confirmed earlier reports that it is ceasing production of the PSP Go, instead focusing its manufacturing attention on the NGP and continuing to support the PSP-3000 model.
Sony may have discontinued production of the PSP Go, according to a Sony Store worker in Japan. The system is partially out of stock in two regions, and Sony declined to comment on the discontinuation.
After a brief price drop to $149.99, the PSP Go is back to selling for $199.99.
