Polytron has just announced Fez 2.
Just a reminder: Fez is available for the PC today.
Fez creator Phil Fish has revealed that the game sold 200,000 copies on Xbox Live Arcade in its first year, as the game prepares to jump to PC.
Fez is coming to Steam on May 1st.
The joys of adventuring in a 3D world as a 2D chap, not to mention scrawling pages of notes in an attempt to decipher cryptic symbols, are coming to new audiences this year. Indie darling Fez could have made an appearance on mobile devices, developer Polytron claims.
Polytron is re-releasing the Fez patch it pulled due to a save file corruption bug--with that error still in. Why? Because it improves the game for most, and if they changed anything, "Microsoft would charge us tens of thousands of dollars to re-certify the game."
Phil Fish has said he's gone back to two projects that were in the works before Fez, but hasn't decided which one to pursue yet.
Polytron has released a patch for Fez, which inadvertently made a new bug that can corrupt save files.
This week, I get lost in Polytron's Fez, the best game ever named after a hat.
