Sony has announced the games joining PlayStation Plus' Instant Game Collection in May: Sleeping Dogs, Pinball Arcade, Knytt Underground, and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend.

Before Dark Souls became a massive success, From Software released Demon's Souls--its bone-crushingly difficult predecessor. PlayStation Plus members will be able to grab it later today as part of this month's update to the Instant Game Collection.

While PlayStation Plus subscribers have regularly enjoyed free games through Sony's Instant Game Collection, they'll soon be able to get free movies as well.

The PlayStation Plus "Instant Game Collection" will add Spec Ops: The Line tomorrow, and has outlined other games coming in March: Joe Danger 2, The Cave, Disagaea 3: Absence of Detention, and Tekken 6 PSP.

PlayStation Plus members will be able to download Vanquish, a DUST 514 "Starter Pack," and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X this week.

Tomorrow's PlayStation Plus update will provide Guardians of Middle-earth for free, along with discounts to Karateka, Big Sky Infinity, and Knytt Underground.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will be added to the Vita PlayStation Plus line-up tomorrow, along with discounts on some other titles.

PlayStation Plus membership is already a pretty redonculous bargain, given how many free games it gets you for PS3 and Vita, but Sony has sweetened the deal further. For the next few months, buying a year's PS Plus membership will get you a bonus three months. That's three extra months of free games, discounts, and wondering why Xbox Live is still so expensive.

If you've been a bit unhappy with the color selection you get for the PlayStation 3, you should be thrilled to find out that the Crystal White version of the console will be coming to North America on January 27, bundled with a full year of PlayStation Plus.
