Battle of Z offers Dragon Ball Z fans more of the same: another chance at seeing their favorite characters pummel each other. However, without a real fighting engine to support the game, hardcore fans haven't just played this before, they've probably already played something better.

With its publisher woes behind them, Skullgirls is ready to return to the console arena. Skullgirls Encore will hit PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, February 11, with the Xbox Live Arcade version to release shortly after.
After a strange spot of confusion, Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry Classic will indeed be coming to North America--next week, in fact. Ubi's HD revamp of the series-sparking shooter was included in the European equivalent of the Far Cry Compilation, but, for whatever reason, in North America it'll be a $9.99 download on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Aksys has specialised for years in localising and publishing Japanese games, including the likes of the BlazBlue series to Virtue's Last Reward, but now it's dabbling in development. It's now announced that its first game, an action-RPG named Magus and co-developed with Black Tower, will launch for PlayStation 3 on February 25 at the budget price of $29.99.
Destiny's beta will begin this summer, Activision said at a recent earnings call. That narrows the window from its previous "early 2014" target.
Activision has announced that future games in the COD series will move to a three-year development cycle. The series has traditionally maintained a two-year cycle until now, with developers Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternating annual releases.
