Because it's a sequel, Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About Time needs to add new plants. A new video from PopCap shows a few of them off.
Plants vs Zombies 2 is soft-launching in Australia today, to test various aspects of the game as it prepares to roll out worldwide.

Garden Warfare manages to instantly wash away any cynicism surrounding the title with its loving 3D recreations of PvZ's iconic characters. It even manages to be an interesting game in its own right, by successfully translating the strategic gameplay of the original into a tactical shooter experience.
Developer PopCap can't be accused of throwing Plants vs. Zombies 2 together quickly just to capitalize on the popularity of the original. In taking its time, PopCap has done an admirable job of crafting a successor that should be just as addicting.
As expected, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare made its debut at EA's E3 press conference. Garden Warfare will come first on Xbox One and then on Xbox 360.
