The Walking Dead is getting another video game adaptation, this time a co-op experience from the studio behind Payday.
Payday 2 has been rolling strong since its release nearly a year ago. We talk to Overkill Software about the new Big Bank Heist DLC, as well as the console versions. Then we get to the main event, as we toss the devs Chatty's best questions about AI/balance issues, upcoming features, and how to jump into the game for the first time.
Payday 2 released its Big Bank DLC earlier this week, adding the game's biggest heist to date.
There's nothing worse than when a Payday 2 heist goes south, because that usually means it's time to improvise. And bad things normally happen when teams have to improvise. The latest Payday 2 DLC isn't going to allow for any of that wiggle room.
Do you have a Death Wish? Payday 2 on PC will later today, introducing a new difficulty mode, two new enemy types, and a whole lot of new achievements.
"The new improved contract, worth six million US dollars, gives us the security to, for the next 20 months, focus on developing and refining Payday 2 so that it becomes the best co-operative gaming experience available on the market."
If you think you've master the art of the heist in Payday 2, maybe it's time for you to get infamous with a few new update for PC.
The PS3 version of Payday 2 is about to get... another creepy clown mask. But this particular creepy clown mask is based on Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth.
Crime is quite popular nowadays, so I hear, and Payday 2 certainly concurs. Developer Overkill Software yesterday launched a new DLC pack on PC, Armored Transport, which adds two new heists along with a handful of new guns (popular in criminal circles, They say), and masks of presidents including Obama and Reagan (I'm sure you can think of a political joke of your own). To celebrate, the shooter's on sale this weekend.
505 Games and Overkill are releasing an Xbox 360 demo for Payday 2, giving players a chance to try out each of the game's classes until level 10.
