OUYA, the Android gaming box that took Kickstarter by storm, will be available to purchase on June 4th for $99.99.
Thatgamecompany co-founder Kellee Santiago, who left the Journey developer in March last year, is joining Android console company OUYA as its head of developer relations.
OUYA has secured games from Double Fine and the creator of Words with Friends, CEO Julie Uhrman announced at DICE.
The OUYA console has set an official launch for June, though pre-orders will get their consoles early and Kickstarter backers will get them even earlier still.
OUYA has made some changes to its controller based on feedback from the developer kits, including a cross-style d-pad, more rubberized thumbsticks, and tweaked triggers.
OUYA has confirmed that it will meet its goal of sending out consoles by the year's end, and has shared a few more details on the roll-out schedule.
