Baldur's Gate: Enhanced interview: making a classic better

The Baldur's Gate series was a classic for the PC, and the announcement that it was being enhanced with updated technology and new content created quite a positive buzz in RPG circles. Now, with the game set to launch in less than two weeks, we had a chance to chat with Beamdog president Trent Oster about the game's initial delay, the new content, plans for DLC and, eventually, Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced.

Shack PSA: Battle.net World Championship kicks off tonight

Sony wanted Baldur's Gate Enhanced for PSN

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition is inching closer to release at the end of this month on PC, Mac and iPad, but Beamdog President Trent Oster said in an exclusive Shacknews interview that Sony wanted the rework of the classic RPG for the PlayStation Network as well.

The Walking Dead final episode shambles out next week

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm coming March 12

The Zerg will rush onto PC and Mac in StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm on March 13, 2013, publisher Activision announced this morning. The expansion will come in three editions, ranging from $40 to $80 depending on how much extra gubbins you want with your sci-fi RTS.

StarCraft 2 opening up global servers

When StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty launched over two years ago, Blizzard saw fit to lock players up in regional servers, unable to play with all their chums from the four corners of this flat Earth.
