The free-to-play Battlefield Heroes was briefly taken offline after LulzSec released user data from the beta version. With this final datablast, the hacker group has disbanded.
An arrest has been made in connection with the recent string of LulzSec hacks. Scotland Yard is also investigating for a possible connection to the PlayStation Network data breach.
LulzSec, the hacker group behind a string of recent attacks on game companies, has now targeted EVE Online, Minecraft, and the gaming Web site The Escapist. Minecraft is back online, but the other two remain down.
