Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, the prologue to The Phantom Pain, will include PlayStation-exclusive content.
The relationship between Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and MGS V: The Phantom Pain has been a little hazy at times, but if you were still confused, today Konami has made it all crystal clear. Ground Zeroes is a separate game, a prologue which will be released in spring 2014.
"Dracula's origins, battles, family and past transgressions are revealed as viewers find him at his most vulnerable," Konami says of its latest trailer.
Metal Gear Solid 5 will have its groundwork laid by Ground Zeroes, and series creator Hideo Kojima has explained the gameplay and story details that make the prologue so important.
