Indie Game: The Movie is getting a special edition. It will be sold digitally on July 24, with limited physical editions following in August.

HBO is limbering up for a TV drama tackling the most harrowing and difficult subject it's approached yet: indie video games. It's early days yet, but the cable channel has optioned documentary Indie Game: The Movie to make a fiction series.

The much-anticipated documentary revolving around the developers of Super Meat Boy, Braid and Fez has received its debut trailer. Meanwhile, the film's makers are seeking a little extra funding to finish it up.
