Havok has launched a free game engine called Project Anarchy. Targeting mobile platforms, Project Anarchy allows developers to release games on iOS and Android platforms.
Nintendo announced today it has entered agreements with Havok and Autodesk, giving it access to a variety of tools to provide to third-party Wii U developers.
Middleware developer Havok will soon be able to offer a fully-featured engine of its own, acquiring Trinigy, maker of the Vision engine which powers Gothic 4, Stronghold 3, The Settlers 7, and more.
