Killzone: Shadow Fall continues to receive free content, with Guerrilla Games tossing in a new King of the Hill multiplayer mode.
Bots have finally come to Killzone Mercenary's multiplayer mode. However, you'll have to pay for the feature if you'd like to access it.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is getting an "Insurgent Pack" in April, and Guerrilla has detailed the full line-up that it will include. Plus, two free maps are now available, and a free trial of the multiplayer mode is ongoing.
The latest patch for Killzone: Shadow Fall lets you lock the campaign frame rate at 30fps for a smoother experience. It also adds clan support, some new Warzone options, more save points in the campaign, and an exploit fix.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is slated to get a long-requested clan system, which will be phased in with patch 1.09 in early February.
As promised, Killzone Shadow Fall will offer free multiplayer maps for everyone.
The better half of Killzone: Shadow Fall is the multiplayer. If you want to give it a try, Sony has announced plans for a free multiplayer weekend. The game's online offerings will be free from December 28 through 31.
Killzone: Mercenary will be receive multiplayer updates in the near-future, including two new multiplayer maps for free.
Ultimately, Killzone: Shadow Fall once again falls short of the lofty expectations placed upon it.
