Sony Computer Entertainment has released details on the second DLC pack for Gran Turismo 5, along with new features and tweaks coming in a new update for the game next week.

"Of course we're working on GT6 already," Polyphony Digital head Kazunori Yamauchi said in a recent interview. "What really will be the separating factor is something that we can't update through a DLC is something that obviously has to be saved for GT6."

The Gran Turismo 5 DLC due to launch today has been delayed into next week in North America. On the bright side, a "special bonus" is now promised.

DLC support was added to Gran Turismo 5 with yesterday's Spec 2.0 update, and now four DLC packs have been announced for release next week to take advantage of it. They range from extra paint colors to new cars and tracks.

Gran Turismo 5 is getting a significant update later this month. The free "Spec 2.0" update adds a number of new features, including improved physics, AI, and new vehicles.

Yet another Sony reality series begins tonight. No, it's not The Tester Season 3. Debuting on Speed Channel tonight is GT Academy, a five-part reality show featuring Gran Turismo 5.
