The last attempt to build a LEGO MMO, LEGO Universe, didn't turn out so well and shut down after only fifteen months. Undeterred, The Secret World developer Funcom announced today it has licensed the rights to make a LEGO MMO, based on the weird and wonderful LEGO Minifigures.

The Secret World beta open to all for final weekend

As The Secret World prepares to creep in under your door on July 3, developer Funcom has announced that its final beta weekend will be open to everyone who fancies it. All you need to do is sign up by June 22, then you can play the beta all this weekend.

As it's been hidden from us for so long, the fact that The Secret World has been delayed by a fortnight can't hurt too much. It'll now launch for PC on July 3, preceded by another two beta weekend events.
