We evalute the current state of Free Lives' Broforce
No game is going to revel in Independence Day like Broforce, which is why they're bringing out two new characters for their July update.
One would imagine that Broforce would have unleashed all of its sheer Bro-centric action. One would also imagine that Shacknews writers would have exhausted all of its "bro" puns. But there's no stopping the bro-mentum, as evidenced by Broforce's May update.
Devolver Digital and Free Lives have bro-ceeded to bring the 2D run-and-gun Broforce to Steam Early Access.
If the world needed saving, which hero would you call: Conan, Indiana Jones, John McClane, Machete, Robocop, Rambo, or perhaps the Terminator? Well, why not all of them? That's the idea behind Broforce, a 2D shooty platformer with a cast including Bro Dredd, MacBrover, B. A. Broracus, and other bro-ised action heroes. Devolver Digital has announced it'll publish the game, and confirmed the once-dreamed console release will be a reality.
