There's a pretty long laundry list of possible features coming to the PlayStation 4 in firmware 2.50 that includes the long-awaited Suspend mode, support to back up games to external hard drives, and more.

PS4 will launch with firmware 1.50 when it's available on November 15th. While you won't need to update the system to use it, the 300MB update includes key features that you will probably want to take advantage of.

The big new feature of PS Vita 2.60 is for PlayStation Plus users. You'll be able to quickly and easily download and upload cloud data directly from a game's LiveArea card. That's pretty rad.
