It's been a long time coming, but it appears that DLC for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is finally coming to PlayStation 3 next month, at a discount no less, starting with Dragonborn. Oh, and PC folks will get Dragonborn in February as well.
Hands-on impressions of the "Dragonborn" expansion to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which just hit Xbox 360 and is set for PC and PlayStation 3 next year.
Bethesda has put its PlayStation 3 Dawnguard and Hearthfire efforts on the shelf for now, instead refocusing its efforts on releasing the new Dragonborn expansion for Skyrim.
The Dragonborn DLC for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is out this week on Xbox 360. PC and PlayStation 3 players are used to waiting for their versions because of the exclusivity deal for the Microsoft console, but at least now Bethesda is narrowing the release window.
Poor PlayStation 3-packing Dragonborn. Though the third piece of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC is approaching next week, technical problems have kept all add-ons off PS3 so far. Sony and Bethesda have joined forces to solve the issues and while we still have no solid word on when DLC might come to PS3, Bethesda has assured that it hasn't given up.
Bethesda has shared new screenshots and details about the story and new powers available in the upcoming "Dragonborn" DLC for Skyrim.
Bethesda has promised that it is "close" on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC, possibly implying that the PS3 might finally get its Dawnguard expansion, and that the upcoming Dragonborn pack could hit PC close to its 360 date.
"Elder Scrolls Online... everything you need about it is right in the name: it's Elder Scrolls but it's online," creative director Paul Sage says in a 9-minute video showing off the first gameplay snippets from ZeniMax's MMORPG. And indeed it certainly does seem to be so. Our John was not pleased with what he saw of TESO at E3, but does this pique your interest?
A naughty Dragonborn is on the loose in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, slaying dragons and sucking up their souls to amass power, and it's not you. Bethesda today released the first trailer for open-world RPG's 'Dragonborn' DLC, teasing new areas, enemies, and, yes, riding dragons.
Amazon Germany has listed a "Premium Edition" of Skyrim for release later this year, which includes a t-shirt, map, novel, and more. Bethesda says this edition of the game is only for certain European territories.
