Final Fantasy XV gameplay trailer shows off real-time combat

Square Enix has put on a fine display of attractive violence in a combat-oriented gameplay trailer Final Fantasy XV, The Video Game Formerly Known As Final Fantasy XIII Versus. How does the more action-y real-time combat look in a core FF game rather than a spin-off. Well, it's pretty at the very least.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 too

The many fine improvements of the Wii U's Director's Cut edition of Deus Ex: Human Revolution shall come to other platforms after all, in a reversal of an earlier decision. The reworked edition, which includes revamped boss battles and developer commentary, will be released for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 as well as Wii U "later this year."

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX getting Plus update with DLC

Bonkers eat 'em up Pac-Man Championship Edition DX was a wonderful surprise, and so is today's announcement of Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+. Oh, no, it's not a sequel: it's a new patch, released three years after launch to improve the leaderboards and add support for DLC. Can't say I was expecting this announcement at E3.

EDF 2025 trailer crawls out as invasion delayed to 2014

Bad news, troops. Earth Defense Force 2025 has been delayed from its planned 2013 launch to February 2014. But hey, D3Publisher had barely spoken about it in ages so you may had forgotten anyway, and E3 brings a new trailer for you to enjoy. With EDF creator Sandlot back at the helm, it's again looking the right sort of janky. Maybe.

Metal Gear Solid 5 extended E3 trailer celebrates PS4 confirmation

I can't imagine that, after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was confirmed for Xbox One yesterday, you'll be too surprised by today's news that it's also coming to PlayStation 4. But wait! Before you roll your eyes and scroll on, to make you pay attention, publisher Konami also released an "extended director's cut" of the splendiferous trailer debuted yesterday, with an extra three minutes of open-world fun.

World of Warplanes open beta begins July 2

Hot on the tracks of yesterday's announcement that World of Tanks is coming to Xbox 360, developer Wargaming has dated the start of open beta testing for World of Warplanes. All and sundry will be able to play the free-to-play plane 'em up from July 2.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma hitting PS3 in 2014

The fine folks at Aksys Games are continuing to feed us fine games from Japan, announcing today that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will arrive on North American PS3s in 2014. It's the fifth in the BlazBlue fighting series from Arc System Works, the famed fightfans also responsible for the many Guilty Gear games and Persona 4 Arena.
