CBS Films has secured the rights from Square Enix to make a big screen adaptation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
The original Deus Ex has been rated for release on PlayStation 3, most likely as a PS2 classic.
This week Shacknews finally reveals its top five games of 2011. Today we begin with the fourth runner-up, Deus Ex: Human Revolution from developers Eidos Montreal and Nixxies (PC).
Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada has reportedly said that Deus Ex has become a core intellectual property for the company, promising the franchise will continue.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution producer David Anfossi has admitted that the boss sequences in the Eidos Montreal-developed title were a misstep, noting: "We knew that would be a weakness for the game."
Arranging "close to 200 pieces of music," Deus Ex: Human Revolution composer Michael McCann has paired down his work on the title into a 25 track soundtrack, available for sale on November 15.
Starting today, players can finally find out what happened during the missing three day span in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. New downloadable content, dubbed 'The Missing Link,' is now available on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and via OnLive.
Developer Eidos Montreal announced a date and price today. "The Missing Link" will be available on October 18th for $14.99, or 1200 Microsoft Points.
