New Humble Bundle includes Saints Row and Dead Island

Humble Bundle went slightly off piste and away from its indie roots with the Humble THQ Bundle, but it turns out getting loads of good video games for little money is broadly pleasant. Today it launched the Humble Deep Silver Bundle, offering the likes of Saints Row: The Third, Sacred 2, Dead Island Riptide and more, depending on how much you fancy paying.

Look, I know, "spoilers" and all that, but Saints Row IV is a video game about the President of the US fighting aliens inside a computer simulation using superpowers and a gun which blasts dubstep--spoilers aren't that important. So here, a new trailer showing the return of Johnny Gat following his unfortunate demise in Saints Row: The Third.

Wasteland 2 signs physical distribution deal with Deep Silver

One big drive in the recent crowdfunding bonanza has been a sentiment of "publishers can go rot", but publishers do also provide valuable services beyond developers' area of expertise. Wasteland 2 developer inXile today announced it's signed a distribution deal with publisher Deep Silver for the post-apocalyptic RPG's physical release and backer rewards.

Metro: Last Light 'Faction Pack' DLC due July 16

If you bought a DLC season pass for Metro: Last Light (but why would you buy DLC unseen?), you may wonder what happened to the 'Faction Pack' DLC that was due in June. It'll finally arrive next Tuesday, July 16, Deep Silver announced today, with three new single-player missions. The publisher dropped more details on the other packs too.
