Decades of relentless overenthusiasm from Linux fans about this year really being "the year of the Linux desktop" means I struggle to even joke about that by now, but Valve bringing Steam to Linux certainly has spurred interest in the operating system. Metro: Last Light is now on Linux too, and developer 4A Games vows it'll work just fine with SteamOS and the Steam controller too.

Saints Row's expansion-turned-sequel-turned-DLC 'Enter the Dominatrix' will launch on October 23, Deep Silver announced today. The publisher also revealed that the second story DLC Saints Row IV is 'How the Saints Saved Christmas,' and will arrive later this year with bags of festive cheer.

Saints Row has always enjoyed tweaking the nose of the series which inspired it, so of course it couldn't ignore Grand Theft Auto V. "Spiders? Sod that," you may have muttered reading about Metro: Last Light's third DLC release, the Developer Pack. But wait! Its new mission The Spider's Nest also gives you a shiny flamethrower to torch the horrors, revealed in screenshots accompanying an announcement that the DLC arrives on September 17. Deep Silver has explained exactly what DLC's Test Level is, too.
Metro: Last Light's second DLC pack, the "Tower" challenge pack, will be coming next week for $4.99.
Saints Row IV has released a Grass Roots DLC pack. Depending on how politically active you are, this may or may not be exactly what it sounds like.
