Valve suddenly dropped a number of developer diaries sharing behind the scenes details on Counter-Strike 2, as well as a summer 2023 release window.

The recent trademarks filed by Valve for 'CS2' make mention of 'video game software' and 'organization of competitions relating to video games'.

Sources allegedly close to the project claimed Counter-Strike 2 is in its final stages of development and could see announcement of a beta very soon.
