If you're still looking for beta keys for Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, you won't have to look for much longer. This year's Blizzcon opened with chief creative officer Rob Pardo announcing that the game would enter open beta next month.

The game formerly known as Blizzard DOTA and Blizzard All-Stars has yet another new name: Heroes of the Storm.

Tickets to BlizzCon 2013 are sold out. But, thanks to the magic of the Internet, you'll be able to partake in the festivities from the comfort of your keyboard. And isn't that what being a Blizzard fan is all about?

Now's the time to make sure you have room on your credit card, because the first batch of tickets for this year's BlizzCon goes on sale tomorrow evening at $175 a pop. Of course, if you need more time to clear that balance, another group of tickets will go on sale on April 27.

BlizzCon, Blizzard's annual showcase for its games, is coming to Anaheim, California, on November 8, with tickets going on sale in two batches beginning April 24. They aren't cheap, though, going for $175 a pop for the two-day event.

There'll be no BlizzCon in 2012, Blizzard has announced, though it will return in 2013. The pro-gaming strand is being spun off into its own event, the 2012 Battle.net World Championship.
