Daniel gets to live his dream of managing a team of Power Ranger-like heroes in Behold Studios' Chroma Squad. He doesn't have the chops to be a real hero, though, just a manager.
Negotiation may give Power Rangers company royalties
Knights of Pen & Paper developer Behold Studios is planning another meta-game, this time a TV sim where you make a Power Rangers-ish show, with layers of running a studio and fighting tactical battles in episodes. It's trying to crowdfund Chroma Squad, and is having a great deal of success so far.
Who has the time to play games anymore? No, we're growed-ups, spending our personal time with our roller skates and bills. So bring on the June 18 launch of "meta RPG" Knights of Pen & Paper, confirmed today by publisher Paradox, where a group of roleplayers can play a tabletop RPG for us, and all we have to do is tell them what to do. That's saving time! I think.
Yo dawg, I heard you like RPGs, so I put an RPG in your RPG so you can roleplay as you roleplay. People tell me I'm "funny". But hey, look, Paradox Interactive is bringing Behold Studios's "meta-RPG" Knights of Pen & Paper to PC in a shiny +1 Edition, so people sitting at desks can roleplay people sitting at tables roleplaying fantasy heroes off on adventures.
