Fans of Battlefield 2 get a chance to revisit some familiar territory today with Battlefield 4's new Legacy Operations update.
Battlefield 4 is rolling on strong and today introduces one of its biggest updates so far, adding a new community map and completely overhauling the game's vehicles.
To this point, DICE had promised a vague September release for Battlefield 4's Night Operations update. Now it looks like it's coming sooner than later, with the team announcing that the update will hit on the first of the month.
It's easy to assume that a Battlefield 4 map switching to night is simply an aesthetic change, but the upcoming Night Operations update promises to be far more than that and change the game in ways the average Battlefield player may not be considering. Battlefield 4 reminds players that there's more than one active Battlefield game at the moment and the Spring Patch has introduced some major fixes, as well as a new game mode making its triumphant return from Battlefield 3: Close Quarters.
EA is releasing Battlefield 4 Premium Edition later this month that will include all expansion packs, exclusive customization options, and even "priority position in server queues."
