Atari plans to auction off its logo and assets in July, having failed to find a buyer after declaring bankruptcy.
Iconic game publisher Atari US filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy today in an effort to separate from its struggling French parent, Atari SA, formerly known as Infogrames. The move means that Atari will end of selling off its logo and many of the classic titles, such as Pong, Centipede, Asteroids and Tempest.
Test Drive Unlimited developer Eden Games was as good as dead after owner Atari laid off most of the staff last year, but now it's official. In its financial results for last year, the publisher confirmed it's been selling off what assets remain.
