ArenaNet has big plans for Guild Wars 2 in 2016.

Legendary armor isn't going to make itself and players will be able to earn the first piece of theirs by completing the first Guild Wars 2:  Heart of Thorns raid, which is set to begin next week.

Guild Wars 2 is preparing to expand into the Heart of Thorns on October 23, but for those that aren't ready to make the plunge, Tyria is about to celebrate the Halloween season on the same day.

Those that need to catch up before Guild Wars 2 releases the Heart of Thorns expansion will now find it easier to do so, since the base game will now be free to everyone.

The first public beta is over and it looks like ArenaNet liked what they saw, because Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns now has a release date.

If you've pre-ordered Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, your first opportunity to jump into the expansion's beta will come next weekend during Gamescom.

ArenaNet attended the PC Gaming Show to show off Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns' upcoming Guild Halls feature.

Those looking to get a taste of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns' new PvP mode will be able to do so with a public beta set to kick off this Tuesday.

With great timing, the Guild Wars 2 mesmer is getting a new specialization that turns it into the mighty chromancer.

Guild Wars 2 will be able to check out the new game mode for themselves next week, although it'll only be available for 24 hours.
