The mobile Rocket League spinoff is unavailable to download or update on iOS through the Epic Games Store and Tim Sweeney says Epic Games doesn't know why.
Sweeney shared that Epic 'might run into serious financial problems after a couple more decades,' but is committed to 'investing to break through.'
The decision was made in Epic Games' case against Google, opening the way for Epic Games Store on Android devices in North America.
Epic Games Store general manager Steve Allison also said the Free Games program is coming to the mobile app.
Unfortunately, while the Epic Games Store app is available worldwide on Android, the iOS version is confined to EU regions at the moment.
Tim Sweeney claimed another victory over Apple's attempts to keep Fortnite off iOS with Japan and UK joining the regions on which Fortnite can be played next year.
The European Union designated iPadOS as a gatekeeper and ruled that Apple must adjust the ecosystem to comply with the Digital Markets Act within six months.
Epic Games argues that Apple is not complying with the injunction. The court has set a three-day hearing beginning on May 8, 2024.
Apple has reportedly committed to the European Commission that it will reinstate the Epic Games developer account.
Epic Games claimed Apple's termination of its developer account was a retaliatory response that violate the Digital Markets Act.
