Nvidia Logan brings Kepler technology to mobile

Nvidia's 'Project Logan' is the company's next-generation mobile processor. And the GPU embedded in the chip is based on the Kepler architecture found on PC. That means upcoming mobile devices can support the same features that high-end desktop cards can: OpenGL 4.4, DirectX 11, tessellation, deferred rendering, etc.

Double Fine's Dropchord on Leap Motion now, iOS and Android next week

The curious gesture controller Leap Motion launched yesterday for PC and Mac, and so has Double Fine's enigmatic game for it, Dropchord. The Psychonauts developer describes it as "a music-driven score challenge game" and it certainly does appear to have sounds and colours. Dropchord will hit iOS, Android and Ouya next week too.

Spaceteam warped onto Android

Stunningly realistic co-op starship bridge simulator Spaceteam has finally arrived on Android, supporting cross-platform play with the iOS original too. Grab some chums and a selection of phones and tablets and whatnot and prepare to hate each other whilst failing to pilot a starship.

Games Workshop's Chainsaw Warrior coming to PC and mobile

Games Workshop may be best known for its Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 wargames, but the company has made plenty of weird and obscure board games and RPGs too. Single-player board game Chainsaw Warrior is becoming a video game thanks to Auroch Digital, giving us an hour and a hefty chainsaw to save New York from invading mutants and zombies.
