Final Fantasy 6 arrives on Android

The 1994 classic, Final Fantasy VI, has released on Android devices with many of the restorations and upgrades found in the 2007 Game Boy Advance revival.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas out on Android

Following its release on iOS in December, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now out for Android and Kindle doodads too, priced at $6.99. Until phones get powerful enough to run Grand Theft Auto V in another decade, pottering around the city of San Andreas as CJ will have to do.

Chillingo co-founders leave EA

After three years of EA rule, Chillingo co-founders Chris Byatte and Joe Wee have left the company. The pair continued to serve as director and general manager, respectively, after EA bought bought the mobile publisher in 2010. They're the third set of high-profile departures from EA-bought studios confirmed in the past week, following two Criterion co-founders plus a PopCap co-founder and its CEO.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 starts Feastivus celebrations tomorrow

In case all the shop displays and television commercials and themed movies and novelty songs and ironic sweaters and video game events and familial guilt haven't clued you in yet, tomorrow is Festivus. PopCap's celebrating in its own special way in Plants vs. Zombies 2, with a series of special 'Feastivus' levels coming to the tower defense from tomorrow.
