A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX jumps to XBLA next week

After a few years bouncing around PC, retro platformer A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda (you may have picked it up in one of those there pay-what-you-want indie bundles) is coming to Xbox Live Arcade next week. The Metroidvania-y jumper will land on October 2, jazzed up with new robobits.

So yes, Sweet Fuse: At Your Side will hit PSP on August 27.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma hitting PS3 in 2014

The fine folks at Aksys Games are continuing to feed us fine games from Japan, announcing today that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will arrive on North American PS3s in 2014. It's the fifth in the BlazBlue fighting series from Arc System Works, the famed fightfans also responsible for the many Guilty Gear games and Persona 4 Arena.

Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi coming to 3DS

Playing video games without also experiencing a wide range of other arts leaves you a stunted and terrible person, so They say, but thankfully some novels are playable on your game devices and have pictures and everything. Publisher Aksys yesterday announced it's bringing visual novel Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi westward to Nintendo 3DS, to make you more whole by teaching a little something about love between a woman and a man.

Ragnarok: Tactics coming over to PSP

Though major publishers abandoned the PSP long ago, Sony's handheld is the best place to find Japanese strategy-RPGs and the like thanks to the localisation-mad publishers like Aksys and Atlus. Aksys has announced it's bringing another SRPG over, Ragnarok: Tactics.
