DICE has temporarily pulled the plug on Battlefield 4's Naval Strike DLC on PC, citing an unspecified quality issue.
Battlefield 4 hasn't had the smoothest launch, especially when it comes to online play. But DICE is steadfast in its commitment to stabilize the game's netcode and will continue addressing a laundry list of bugs in the coming weeks.
Naval Strike adds four new maps set in the South China Sea: the Lost Islands, Wake Breaker, Nansha Strike, and Operation Mortar.
DICE has announced that Battlefield 4 will add Platoons very soon.
Origin is offering a "Handgun Shortcut Kit" for Battlefield 4, unlocking 11 weapons. It seems set to be priced at $4.99, but is available for free through February 24.
Battlefield 4's most egregious problems appear to be in the past, because DICE is focusing on expansions again. Second Assault will hit non-Xbox One platforms on February 18 for Battlefield 4 Premium members (March 4 for everyone else), while Naval Strike is set for a late March deployment.
