With BioShock Infinite's February 26 launch drawing near, developer Irrational Games has detailed the PC edition's wide range of graphics and control options, along with its system requirements. The BioShock series has suffered from issues like wonky widescreen and missing controller support on PC before, but on paper it sounds like things are shaping up nicely for Infinite.
BioShock Infinite already has many people excited for its March 26 release (including Jeff and Steve), but if you really need any more enticing, developer Irrational Games has released four more screens showing off some of the combat and environment in Columbia.
If you feel like killing some aliens today and jump into XCOM: Enemy Unknown, you will be greeted with a brief download bearing a free gift. Publisher 2K Games has released the second DLC pack for the game entitled Second Wave.
If you have skipped the BioShock series for some reason, perhaps due to a lengthy coma or immense silliness, you'll soon be able to make amends with one handy bundle. Publisher 2K today announced the BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition collection, which bundles the first two games together with all their DLC. Super keen BioShock fans may be interested too, as it introduces a new virtual museum level filled with BioShock history.
After all the folderol surrounding the BioShock Infinite box cover and the "frat boy" appeal, Developer Irrational Games held a poll for an alternate cover. The winner was the Songbird, with about 38 percent of the vote.
Rockstar Games was in a giving mood for the holidays, putting five new screenshots of Grand Theft Auto 5 under the virtual Christmas tree for gamers wanting just a bit more eye candy for one of the most anticipated titles of 2013.
The previously rumored Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC for Borderlands 2 has been officially announced by publisher 2K Games, and players will indeed be heading to the new continent of Aegrus to stalk weird new creatures with the robotically enhanced big game hunter.
A simple black card with XCOM's "Vigilo Confido" logo emblazoned on it opens up with a warning. The card tells us to consider Enemy Unknown "for any annual video game awards" because "future funding for the XCOM project may depend on it."
Irrational Games has released a trailer of the first five minutes from BioShock Infinite. It's got a few spoilers, and lots of water, so don't watch if you want to wait for the game (or you get seasick easily).
