Mafia dev hit with layoffs as 2K shuffles staff

2K is shaking things up at 2K Czech, creator of the Mafia series. The publisher is closing 2K Czech's Prague office, shifting some people over to the one in Brno, bringing some over to 2K headquarters in California, and some, well, they're just plumb out of a job. What exactly the studio has been up to since 2010's Mafia II is secret, with no new games publicly announced.

Grand Theft Auto Online Beach Bum DLC hits next week

Though the days are drawing in and Jack Frost visits at night, Grand Theft Auto Online is getting ready to hit the beach. Rockstar today announced that the free 'Beach Bum' DLC will arrive next Tuesday, November 19, with patch 1.06. It'll add new Jobs and oodles of beach fun equipment, including dune buggies, board shorts, tribal tattoos, and a broken bottle to swing around.

BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea trailer celebrates launch

BioShock Infinite returns to Rapture today as the first episode of its 'Burial at Sea' DLC launches, and naturally publisher 2K has released a trailer to celebrate this. Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies announced for PC and iOS

Firaxis is landing a sequel to Sid Meier's Ace Patrol on PC and iOS this fall, publisher 2K announced today. Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies will bring the turn-based strategic aerial combat to the Pacific theatre, flying missions in battles including Pearl Harbor, Midway, and Guadalcanal.
