Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel only appears to make incremental improvements, but it's doing right by the name and some of its adjustments are welcome additions.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has gotten a release date of October 14 in North America, along with a pre-order bonus and new trailer.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is debuting some interesting additions to the series. But let's not forget that, first and foremost, the Pre-Sequel is Handsome Jack's story and the self-aggrandizing scoundrel is sure to remind you of that in the game's latest trailer, which released earlier this week.
Gearbox and 2K Australia are offering a greater overview on what's coming in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with a new 15-minute playthrough video of the game's demo from PAX East.
"It's pretty big. I don't think it's going to be as big as Borderlands 2," Pitchford admitted.

Taking place in between the first and second game in the series, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is definitely not Borderlands 3. And Gearbox isn't really working on The Pre-Sequel, opting to partner with 2K Australia to do the heavy lifting.
Developer Canberra, the Australia-based division of 2K Marin, has been renamed 2K Australia and is working with Irrational Games on a BioShock, Irrational Games boss Ken Levine has confirmed.
