Reading your article, I realized that I've only seen three nominated movies: Sound of Metal, the new Borat, and The Trial of the Chicago 7.

I somehow left off Best Director. Well, it's 100% going to be Chloe Zhao!

Man, Promising Young Woman was just so fuckin weird and uncomfortable and I didn't like how things worked out in the end. I guess it was pretty unique and edgy but just didn't really love it overall.

I didn't care for it either. The main character was just so sad and pathetic and the ending was disappointing.

I loved it. But I get that people might not have. The whole thing was unbearably tense and disturbing and resonated with me

It was dull and heavy handed, but the third act redeemed it somewhat.

Reznor + Ross get Oscar for Best Music Composition for their soundtrack for Soul.

Still one away from the EGOT

Yep it was horrible. No memorable speeches and the best actor wasn’t even there lol.

Another key Oscar thing: Colette , the documentary short that was prepared alongside Respawn/Oculus' MoH: Above and Beyond, won an Oscar - making this the first VG Oscar for all purposes. (Joining Baba Yetu as the first VG Grammy)

Ending it on someone who didn't show or record anything and just rolling credits was....yikes

I am still dumbfounded that Best Picture was not the final category. I guess they supposed that in a year when no one saw any of these movies, the star actors would still be the big draw?

Alright, let's see how I did!

I correctly predicted 11/19 award winners, not too shabby.
