Easter is this weekend and while you're eating your Peeps and jelly beans, take a look at some of my Easter gaming memories.
When I was little, the "Easter bunny" would have my brother and I go on a hunt in our house for a present in addition to our Easter baskets. I can remember getting Pokemon cards and all kinds of toys over the years in my basket. We also got some video games, most of the time Game Boy games. One of my first Easter memories I can remember was getting the original Game Boy. I also received Kirby's Dream Land one year, which is one of the best Game Boy games. There were also some games that are an acquired taste, like Bart VS the Space Mutants and Ren and Stimpy: Space Cadets. These are two of the harder games on their systems and in the case of Ren and Stimpy, one of the lesser games on the Game Boy. On the other hand, I can remember never getting past the first level in Bart VS the Space Mutants until I was an adult and I still have trouble getting far in the game.
Enjoy the holiday weekend and create new memories with your friends and family.
