Our normal tradition is irish coffees on Christmas morning, which is always nice.
- French press coffee
- 1-2 tsp. Sugar (depends on bitterness of coffee)
- 1.25 oz Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey (you don’t want too much)
- Top with heavy cream that has been aerated in a glass jar via 2-3 minutes of shaking
- It’s critical that the foamy cream is ice cold, I stick it in some ice for at least 10 minutes, you need the juxtaposition of hot sugary whiskey coffee and ice cold thick cream.
