For those who remember, Zack Finfrock starred in and wrote a mini-series of Fallout episodes & a short film called Fallout: Nuka Break. I can't stress how great this series was. The acting, production, and visual effects were top-notch for an independent production. I've watched it several times and even have my doubts that the new Amazon show will capture the themes, style, and video game tone of Nuka Break.
Thirteen years later, Zack Finfrock is dusting off his vault suit and ready to continue the journey of his character "Twig".
I went to film school, I've worked in the film industry, and with knowledge, I can tell you that making a movie is a huge daunting task. The history of making Fallout: Nuka Break is, like most productions, a colorful experience, to say the least, with a lot of production and life lessons learned with Wayside Digital. I followed the story of what happened to Zack and the team behind Fallout: Nuka Break, and was appalled. (I get a little personal here) As a creative ex-film person industry myself, I hate when talented people get screwed over, and Zack's team was no exception. To see how well Nuka Break was put together and seeing Zack struggle is something of a pet peeve of mine, and I'm happy to see Zack back in the saddle creating stuff.
While we don't have details on the plot itself, we know it will take place 15 years after the events of Fallout: Nuka Break. You can follow Zack on Twitter and contribute to the production costs via his GoFundMe.
