The hits keep coming for CD Projekt Red's less-than-stellar launch of the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. Last night, Sony announced that they would be pulling the game from the PlayStation Store.
SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund. Please visit the following link to initiate the refund: https://t.co/DEZlC0LmUG.

Not to be outdone, Microsoft also announced their own Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077 refund policy this morning.
Cyberpunk 2077: To ensure that every player can get the experience they expect on Xbox, we will be expanding our existing refund policy to offer full refunds to anyone who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 digitally from the Microsoft Store, until further notice. https://t.co/04TcniwVzy

All these great announcements have made the folks running Nintendo pretty jealous, so they came out today to preemptively pull Cyberpunk 2077 from the eShop. Apparently the game was set to be a showpiece of the upcoming Nintendo Switch Pro launch lineup, but this donkey of a game can't even run on PS5.
So #Cyberpunk2077 has been Delisted from the PlayStation Store and is issuing full refunds.

That means that for the time being, Cyberpunk2077 is currently an Xbox Console Exclusive for XB1 and Series X/S. pic.twitter.com/QYtHVdwo6X
There is no reason to get Nintendo fans' hopes up that this thing will ever be able to run on whatever 5 year-old chip ends up being thrown into the Switch Pro. Our anonymous uncle who works at Nintendo sent us the following statement:
"At Nintendo, we love to surprise and delight our customers, and today we have a unique opportunity to simultaneously announce and delist a game. How could we resist?"
Today's news from The Big N is somewhat bittersweet. It is great to get confirmation of the upcoming release of the Nintendo Switch Pro, but the preemptive delisting of Cyberpunk 2077 from the eShop really puts a damper on things.
