Werd Beta Update

Some UI/UX improvements

Werd Beta has been updated with the following changes: 

  • Grid sizings will be remembered for split chatty view and article/cortex view
  • Tabs are handled a little better. Chatty tab won't take up excessive amounts of space any more
  • Improved parsing of preview text so spoilers should be more reliable amongst other stuff

Everyone can get Werd for any Windows 10 device here

      Is there a plan for when you click on links to posts from the chatty or lol page that it loads up the relevant post instead of the whole thread?

      I sometimes look at the whole lol page and trying to find the post now takes longer since it starts at the top without the linked post open or zoomed to.

          Hmm, the update wasn't applying for some reason.

          Also I've been getting this random post jumping when I hit reply. I click the reply button and begin to type and I can see it's open and waiting for me to type. As soon as I do nothing goes in but depending on what I hit it jumps around the chatty to other posts closing what I was typing. I have to go back to the thread/post and try to type again. I kind of make it a habit now to click in the text field to make sure it's active.

              Split Chatty is on. It happens randomly during the same instance. Most recently in that last reply. It didn't do it this time. I wonder if I start typing to fast before the text field is up because I can see certain keys makes me navigate around posts/threads when I'm not replying.

              Yeah it's when I am typing my reply and hit the A/Z or J/K keys that are the post/thread navigation keys.

                  Yeah, I'll be typing and then suddenly the thread is gone along with the reply box. Either before I type anything or in the middle of it.

                  I also noticed that if I click outside of the reply or in the preview of the post above the text field it takes focus away and enable the navigation keys.

      I don't know what causes it, but half the time when I start typing in a reply, it jumps to another post. Any idea why?

        maybe its the hotkeys for browsing posts are getting triggered for some reason? a, z, k and j for example

        Heh, I'm talking about the same thing to boarder2 right now above it. I think it has something to do with the reply box/text entry field losing focus and when you're typing the navigation keys (A/Z and J/K) make the thread change.

        I've begun a habit of making sure I click into the text field to make sure it types in there but sometimes it still loses focus. It usually happens for me as soon as I start typing.

      any chance for buttons to quickly add to a tag count? i already did some graphic user interface design to illustrate my idea
