Werd Beta Update

Some UI/UX improvements

Werd Beta has been updated with the following changes:

Grid sizings will be remembered for split chatty view and article/cortex view
Tabs are handled a little better. Chatty tab won't take up excessive amounts of space any more
Improved parsing of preview text so spoilers should be more reliable amongst other stuff

Everyone can get Werd for any Windows 10 device here

  Is there a plan for when you click on links to posts from the chatty or lol page that it loads up the relevant post instead of the whole thread?
  
  I sometimes look at the whole lol page and trying to find the post now takes longer since it starts at the top without the linked post open or zoomed to.

      Hmm, the update wasn't applying for some reason.
      
      Also I've been getting this random post jumping when I hit reply. I click the reply button and begin to type and I can see it's open and waiting for me to type. As soon as I do nothing goes in but depending on what I hit it jumps around the chatty to other posts closing what I was typing. I have to go back to the thread/post and try to type again. I kind of make it a habit now to click in the text field to make sure it's active.

        Does that happen more than one time per app launch? Are you using the split view or the inline chatty view?

        Split Chatty is on. It happens randomly during the same instance. Most recently in that last reply. It didn't do it this time. I wonder if I start typing to fast before the text field is up because I can see certain keys makes me navigate around posts/threads when I'm not replying.

        Yeah it's when I am typing my reply and hit the A/Z or J/K keys that are the post/thread navigation keys.

        Hmm. It happens actively while your focus is in the reply textbox? I have to disable hotkeys and stuff while the text box has focus but if it loses focus it gets re-enabled. Maybe there's a way I can disable it if the reply dialog is showing at all but I'd have to look. That might get tricky.

        Yeah, I'll be typing and then suddenly the thread is gone along with the reply box. Either before I type anything or in the middle of it.
        
        I also noticed that if I click outside of the reply or in the preview of the post above the text field it takes focus away and enable the navigation keys.

  I don't know what causes it, but half the time when I start typing in a reply, it jumps to another post. Any idea why?

    maybe its the hotkeys for browsing posts are getting triggered for some reason? a, z, k and j for example

    Heh, I'm talking about the same thing to boarder2 right now above it. I think it has something to do with the reply box/text entry field losing focus and when you're typing the navigation keys (A/Z and J/K) make the thread change.
    
    I've begun a habit of making sure I click into the text field to make sure it types in there but sometimes it still loses focus. It usually happens for me as soon as I start typing.

      Any idea of if it happens more frequently when you're posting in a highly active thread vs a quiet one? I wonder if something about posts being added to a thread in real-time is stealing focus. I can't say as though I've ever experienced it like you guys are describing but clearly it's happening.

  any chance for buttons to quickly add to a tag count? i already did some graphic user interface design to illustrate my idea

    Hmm, maybe. Need to think more about that. What if the tag menu button was over there instead? Otherwise it’s be weird to just have the things that were already tagged and only be able to add to the pile quickly and I’m not entirely sure I want to throw every available tag in there. It looks kinda gross like that.

    Heh, I initially thought of this too. It's like too far to go to the right to bring up the tags haha.
